Everytime i try to download a .rar file using safari the floating icon goes to the downloads button but it only downloads around 5kb of the .rar file, i have tried restarting and deleting the cache/cookies but the problem still persists, it started doing this randomly yesterday so i have no idea why it is happening,
For me, the problem aren't the rar files. When i download the rar files with opera the same problem occurs as in safari and firefox, it only downloads around 5 kb of the rar files and gives me an error message, but when i restart the download in opera again, the program downloads the whole file.
Ditto. I can download other types of files. But downloading a rar, which I used to download and decompress with no problem, now only creates a small, unuseable file, about 5K in size. Is this something that Apple broke?
i'm having trouble downloading .rar and .zip, and its been since the recent security update. i got around it somehow recently in Firefox, because these strange popups came coming up before they would ask if i wanted to download off Megaupload, but from any other site, it just won't download. i'm really annoyed about this, because i also cannot send any .rar or .sip files from my computer suddenly. HELP!
Same problem here. I have tried Safari, Chrome and Firefox all updated versions and still cannot download the full .RAR file. It only downloads like 5KB and stops to show completed. This is getting crazy. It worked for me about a week ago. Don't know if it has anything to do with updating Mac OS. Everyone here seems to be in the same boat with no answer....
That is very odd. After downloading the game and only unzipping the .rar (no need to compress it to a zip), it should just be a simple folder with the application and everything inside. Something on your PC must be reading it as a Microsoft Edge File for it to be doing that. Not sure what the cause could be. Sorry!
